About Showcase Australia
More Information ....
Showcase Australia is syndicated throughout Australia and globally via multiple networks and stations - both terrestrially and online.
The program showcases Australian Artists only, and the format features new and current releases that are out to Australian Country Radio, as well as country singles that are presently charting in Australia, select ‘alternate’ country tracks, and some Australiana.
Occasionally, a personal favourite/past hit may also be included.
These singles are tracks that have been released to Australian country radio by Aussie artists through a recognised Distribution Service Provider (DSP). However, they do not include releases that have only been made through platforms such as i-Tunes and Spotify.
To keep the program fresh and listeners engaged, tracks on playlists are not repeated within the month.
Preferences for song selections lean towards new, original material in order to encourage the growth of the genre. However, the valuable contribution that country classics have made, is not entirely discounted and so covered renditions of these songs released by Australian artists are also periodically included.
Where an upcoming Australian country music festival, awards presentation or special event is approaching, the music of the artists who are involved in that occasion, or who have made any final nominations, may also be considered for airplay inclusion.
Showcase Australia is freely available to Networks and Stations interested in broadcasting it. For more information about how to access it, please download the information pamphlet here or contact us at; showcaseoz@tpg.com.au

"On a crazy busy day in Tamworth one year I heard a wonderful voice as I entered a venue I was performing at myself. “Who is the artist?” I asked my mate.”Connie Kis Andersen; isn’t she wonderful”.
“Yes, she is.,” I smiled and decided I wanted to meet her.
Years later I am still inspired by this wonderful music artist and radio presenter.
She’s been sometimes one of few who were regularly playing my music, and it’s a pleasure to do the same for her.
Connie’s Showcase Australia has shone a spotlight on Australian country music for as long as I can remember. Congratulations Connie for such a wonderful achievement and thank you always for playing my music xx"
Susan Lily - Singer / Songwriter and presenter at WOWfm 100.5 Adelaide.

"When I was looking for a new presenter for our Australian show I met up with Connie on a trip to Nashville. I knew from talking to her she would have the right voice and the knowledge of other Australian Music would be second to none. Her programme is one of the jewels in our crown and has a great following on CMR Nashville."
Lee Williams, CEO CMR Nashville
" Showcase Australia was a great find for us as we were looking for a program that does exactly what the name implies, showcasing Australian country music to the world. Well produced, informative and a great selection of music."
Jeff Francis, CEO Backwater Country (Formerly Tamar Valley Country 87.6FM)
"The show itself is like listening to someone you know giving airtime to Australian artists, but without shouting into the radio demanding that you listen, the calm approach makes the show what it is and continues to receive great reviews in our listening region"
Robert Rickard - Program Manager, Seymour FM 103.9
"When our station started up in 2020 we canvassed our community to get their opinions on what sorts of shows they'd like to hear us play. Quite a number of people shouted "Country music please" so we decided to schedule three country music shows on Wednesday evenings.'
The first of these shows was "Showcase Australia" given we couldn't access any decent country music shows here in New Zealand and our nearest cousins in Australia already had a great show running.
We've been airing "Showcase Australia" for the last 18 months now and the feedback from listeners has been great. We're really keen on hearing Connie's voice every week with her unique blend of specially selected music."
